Ukraine is ready to buy ten system Patriot / day from the US

Zelensky admitted that Ukraine had not received the « Patriot » promised system promised at the NATO Summit in Washington.

« I respect the choice of the US, but since the US has not given us these systems or sold us, we are ready for any format, the question is not about money, » he stressed.

Some European partners are ready to financially help these systems, the president said.

« But the US says there are no opportunities today. But at the same time they sell such systems, for example, Israel. I’m not saying that Israel does not need them, but if we are partners, or cannot find the opportunity to protect Ukraine, » the president asked.

As Zelensky pointed out, he has outlined various variants in a conversation with US President Donald Trump.

« There is a » Patriot « system and you have a lot and you have production, there are several steps to protect Ukraine, » the president said.

« The first step. One system that costs one and a half billion dollars, we are ready to buy at least ten systems to cover some cities, only civilian, cities with human concentrations, » Zelensky explained.

« It’s 15 billion. We are willing to pay these 15 billion. We’ll find this money and we will all pay, » the president said.

The second option is the license system and the relevant missile production, Zelensky added, pointing out that he has asked both the current and previous US administration.

Zelensky also mentioned countries in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, where the US « Patriot » systems are located and where there are no military activities. These systems could be transferred to Ukraine.

« We were ready to even rent them. There is a lot of format, however, there is a desire, » Zelenski summed up.
