Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky has announced that at least 155 Chinese are fighting in the ranks of the Russian army and two of them have captured Ukraine. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the Chinese Ambassador to Kijiva Ma Shenkun in connection with these charges, which was submitted by evidence justifying these allegations, the ministry said.
« Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebijnis emphasized that Chinese citizens’ participation in war against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor, as well as the involvement of Chinese companies in the production of military production in Russia is seriously concerned and contradicts the spirit of Ukraine and Chinese partnership, » the ministry said. « Ukrainian special services have given evidence of these facts to the Chinese side, » the ministry added.
Perebijni called on China to stop supporting Russia in its aggression against Ukraine and at the same time emphasized that Ukraine is highly appreciating its strategic cooperation with China and expecting China to refrain from any steps that could harm bilateral relations in the future.
