The first illness took place on June 1, but Metsähallitus was not informed until June 6.
Metsähallitus Nature Services Expert Kristiina Aikio says that some sick tourists have also announced that they have visited Ivalo and Raja-Joosep.
However, it is not yet known what stomach disease is or where it originally started to spread.

No general spaces are completely closed, but people have been asked not to use them.
