Udre / Day has become the Prime Minister’s Communication Adviser

According to the Chancellery, Udre has experienced a media and political communication professional – working in journalism for a long time, including Latvian Television, working as a public relations specialist in the private sector, was responsible for communication in the « New Unity » party and organized media training.

Udre has received a bachelor’s degree in social science in communication science at Riga Stradins University and a Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Latvia.

The pulpit informs that the previous strategic communication adviser Elīna Lidere has adopted new professional challenges, while at the same time she will continue to work in the Prime Minister’s office as freelance advisor to innovation and technology.

According to the LETA archive, Lidere began his work at the Prime Minister’s Office as an advisor to a strategic communication on November 19 last year. Then Prime Minister’s press secretary Edīte Matuseviča graduated from the Prime Minister’s office, who worked for only a month and a half in her office.

The Chancellery also points out that changes in the Prime Minister’s office have also been affected by Economy Adviser Rein Lasman, who has decided to join the Office of the Interior Minister Richard Kozlovsky (JV) to perform the functions of the Minister’s Adviser to Finance, Budget and Innovation.
