Two Polish women injured on the trail in Little Fatra. Rescuers in action
The Horská Záchranná Služba (HZS), which is the Slovak equivalent of GOPR on Saturday, May 3 received a report about a 53-year-old tourist who slipped on the trail near the town of Nové Dier, Little Fatra (mountain band in the Western Carpathians). Four rescuers immediately set off.

After reaching the victim, who turned out to be Polish, the rescuers confirmed that as a result of the accident she suffered a harmless injury of the right leg. They quickly gave her first aid, then transported her to the nearby settlement Stefanová, where she was handed over to the ambulance crew.
