These clues joined other lines of investigation to end up approaching those responsible, ensuring their link with the beating and solving the crime. « Both the victim and the alleged aggressors belonged to the same social environment, formed by individuals with multiple criminal records and with addiction problems, residing in marginal environments, » the authorities have specified, so that this context can be one of the keys to the murder.

The National Policewhich has developed the operation, relied on “witness statements, the analysis of video surveillance images and other indications” to locate the two detainees next to the victim in the day, time and place where the fatal result occurred. A subsequent police action not directly linked to this case served to reinforce the connection of the two arrested with this aggression. The agents first arrested one of them and, soon after, the second subject voluntarily appeared in a police station to “partially recognize the facts”, but trying to reduce their involvement with them blaming the first detainee. Both criminals were brought to court and the judge has decreed their entry into provisional prison.
