Two employees in the Israeli embassy in America were killed in front of the Jewish Museum in the center of Washington, American capital.
The suspect for the attack was arrested.
A man and woman were killed around 9/9/5 hours in the evening of local time, when they left the museum after a humanitarian event to help Gaza, the organizers for the BBC said.
The attacker shot from proximity, said Tal Naim Koen, a spokesman of the Israeli embassy.
Although the names of the killed were not published, Jekiel Leiter, Israeli ambassador in America, said it was a young couple who planned the wedding.
Elijas Rodrigigez suspect, 30-year-old from Chicago, shouted « free Palestine » during the arrest, say from the police.
It will be questioned because of « possible connection with terrorism, » says Steve Jensen, Deputy Director of the Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) in Washington.
