Two classes with advanced technology are opened for children laid out on QSUT pediatrics
Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, MSHMS Minister Albana Kociu and Israeli Foundation Leaders inaugurated two teaching classes for children hospitalized at the Pediatric Hospital at TUHC.
Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, said that in the children’s well -equipped teaching classes at the pediatric hospital, four teachers have been added and the lesson will be completed through more advanced technology, but also referring to the school curriculum.
“There are already nearly two class classes that we have opened thanks to the valuable help of the Sasa Setton Foundation. A classroom for teaching through technology and teaching according to the school curriculum for children who are hospitalized at the pediatric hospital. We have placed four teachers of the education system and a teacher who is permanent in pediatrics, elementary school teacher. Four teachers who will be part of the ‘school’ already built at the pediatric hospital, both classes are fukning, will provide lessons but also entertainment for children treated at this hospital”Said Minister Manastirliu.
This investment is the result of the tripartite agreement signed earlier by the Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Kociu and the head of the Sasa Setton Foundation, Robert Singer for the creation of teaching classes at the Pediatric Hospital at TUHC.
The Sasa Setton Foundation has offered the experience to set up a special educational and entertainment program for children of different ages, hospitalized at the pediatric hospital. Classes are friendly for children, well equipped to develop the teaching process to entertain children as well. For children who are impossible to move from beds, tablets, smartphones and didactic tools specially created for them will be enabled. In addition to learning, activities related to reading, photography, music, etc. will be offered.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has enabled environments and through medical staff identifies children who can participate in these classes, the Ministry of Education and Sports provides full support through qualified teachers as well as to adapt and implement curricula or entertainment activities.
The role of the teacher is primary in this initiative, as it encourages children to participate in classrooms, but also entertainment activities. On the one hand, it will help children continue their curriculum, even when it comes to national exams, but on the other hand they will encourage them to be active in order to cope with the hospital stay with as much success and ease.
