Twenty -year -old is arrested for triple murder in Uppsala
« The person who is currently being arrested for murder in three cases is the man in his 20s who has been arrested on probable cause for murder since Thursday, » prosecutor Andreas Nyberg said in a press release.
At the same time, three people-a 25-year-old man, a man aged 35 and a man at the age of 45-are released. They are no longer arrested on suspicion of instigating murder, but the preliminary investigation against them is still ongoing.
At the same time, another person has been arrested, suspected of probable cause for assisting in murder.
« That man was arrested by police during the night until Sunday, » the prosecutor said.
In total, person has been requested detained, while three people are arrested. This week, the prosecutor will decide whether these three should also be arrested or released.
The triple murder at Vaksala square in Uppsala took place on Tuesday at 17. The three victims, between 15 and 20 years, were shot dead inside the hairdressing salon.
Police and prosecutors have not commented on what the investigators suspect may be behind the murders.
A 16-year-old boy who escaped from an HVB home was arrested just hours after the shooting, but he has later been completely removed from the investigation.
