Tufegljic: Prosecutor’s Office in closing remarks that there is no evidence of any involvement of Vanja’s father
I appreciate the closing word of the prosecution as a contradictory in itself, because in a way directly described the plan and actions of the other defendants, with whom the prosecution proves that these people had a pre -elaborate plan, that is, the first kidnapping and clarifying the reasons why they had canceled and that the plan was to fail, Today’s court hearing on the murder of Vanja Gjorcevska and Pance Zezhovski, where the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office gave her closing statement.
Tufegljic emphasized that the father Aleksandar Gjorcevski is nowhere to mention, nor any connection with him about the commission of the crime. He pointed out that no evidence was carried out by the prosecution in the entire lawsuit that would prove that Alexander had communicated with the first defendant Ljupco Palevski.
– I do not know how the court will make, but today we have heard that the Public Prosecutor’s Office in its closing remarks confirmed what we know from the first day, and that is no evidence of any involvement or Alexander’s involvement, they have no evidence of any connection and communication with Ljupco Palevski.
Prosecutor’s Office today in his closing remarks requested a maximum life sentence for four defendants Ljupco Palevski, Vlatko Kesishev, Bore Videvski and Velibor Manev, while for Vanja’s father, defendant Aleksandar Gjorcevski asked the court to order him. For Gjorcevski, the prosecutor said « There is no more severe punishment than a loss of child and life with such a conscience as in the case of Vanja’s father, defendant Aleksandar Gjorcevski. We do not claim that they wanted to kill his child, but participated in his daughter’s kidnapping and ask for appropriate punishment.
