In the second round of the Polish presidential election, Rafał Trzaskowski leads 50.3%based on Ipsos Exit Poll. However, the statistical error limit is +/- 2 percentage points, so the final result is not yet sure.
The outcome of the presidential election determines Poland’s political direction over the next five years. Rafał Trzaskowski, mayor of Warsaw, represents a more liberal policy, while Karol Nawrocki, head of the Institute of National Memory, emphasizes conservative values. The result of the election can influence not only the domestic policy situation but also the international relations of Poland.
According to Ipsos, Trzaskowski gained 50.3%and Nawrocki 49.7%. Due to the close result, anything can happen with the statistical error limit. The final decision will be made by the official data of the State Election Commission (PKW).
