Trump’s son praises Budapest. What will he do in Romania?

The good and reliable personal relationship between Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and US President Donald Trump can serve as a basis for strengthening the economic relations between Hungary and the US, said on a business forum in Budapest of the US President, Donald Trump Jr., which is an East-European tour, which will include Romania.

Speaking in the Hungarian capital at the ‘Trump Business 2025’ forum, Trump Jr. said that, after last summer he was dealing with his father’s election campaign, he now came to Budapest for business, as vice-president of Trump Organization, a society that, according to self-registration on his website, follows the development of family, the development of the family.

Trump Jr. appreciated that, although in the past the central and Eastern European region has often been viewed with contempt, Hungary and other countries in the area present a much more favorable picture compared to Western Europe, which is due to the fact that governments in this region have followed rational policies that served the interests of their citizens. Thus referring to the host country, he mentioned that Hungarian citizens want to defend their values ​​and are supported by the leadership of the Conservative Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The administration of former US president Joe Biden was often hostile to Orban as a result of the patriotic policies promoted by the latter and his support for Donald Trump, his son noted.

Trump Jr. began a tournament in four Eastern European countries on Friday, with the goal of expanding the Trump family’s business interests and strengthening links with conservative political allies, writes EFE.

After Hungary, he will visit Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia. For this tournament, a series of events have been organized called ‘Trump Business Vision 2025’, actions focused on identifying investment opportunities in the region and in which Trump Jr. will have meetings with important business people in this area of ​​Europe.

He will participate in Bulgaria on a forum organized by the NEXO Digital Active Platform on Sunday, along with the Israeli Minister of Science and Technology, Gila Gamliel, among others.

Donald Trump Jr. will arrive in Romania on Monday and will participate here in another business event, a few days before the first round of repeated presidential elections after the cancellation of the election last year.

The decision of the Constitutional Court of Romania that annulled the first round of the poll won by the independent candidate Călin Georgescu aroused vehement critics in the USA. US Vice -President JD Vance and billionaire Elon Musk convicted the decision, while Donald Trump Jr. accused her on social networks, without evidence, ‘Soros and Marxists’ of trying to manipulate the result and ‘to deny the people’, notes the EFE agency, taken over by Agerpres.

From Romania, Trump Jr. will go to Serbia, where President Aleksandar Vucic is facing a wave of street protests organized by the opposition. On the other hand, the Belgrade government is trying to postpone the sanctions imposed by the US to a Serbian refinery controlled by the Russian Gazprom company.

Donald Trump’s visit Jr. in Serbia is the third in this country in the last seven months. The most recent was in March, when he discussed with President Vucic at a meeting whose content remained largely unknown.

However, Trump Jr. is related to Serbia through a business project. Affinity partners company in Belgrade, founded by Trump’s son -in -law, Jared Kushner, intends to build in the Serbian capital a luxury hotel on the site of the former General Staff of the Serbian army and which would bear the name Trump.

Serbian civic organizations protested against this project, as the respective headquarters was one of the targets attacked by NATO airplanes in the 1999 bombing and these organizations want to give that location a purpose related to historical memory.

The investment in this project is estimated at about 500 million dollars, and according to the media sources the Trump family has obtained a land concession contract for 99 years.

Jared Kushner also obtained the authorizations in Albania to build a luxury tourist complex estimated at about $ 1.4 billion.
