Trump’s rating in the US fell to the lowest level

The rating of US President Donald Trump’s work has dropped to the lowest level since his return to the White House.

It is noted that at least Trump’s rating remains higher than for most of the presidency of his predecessor, Democrat Joe Baiden, the results of the Reuters/Ipsos survey indicate that many Americans are dissatisfied with his steps.

About 83% of respondents said the US President should obey the federal court decision, even if he does not want it.

57% disagreed with the statement that « it is normal for the US President to stop funding universities, if the president does not agree with how they are governed. »

66% do not believe that the president should control leading cultural institutions, such as national museums and theaters.

The survey showed that on a number of issues – from inflation and immigration to taxation and rule of law – the number of Americans who do not approve of Trump’s activities is greater than the number of those who approve.

In terms of immigration, its strongest support, 45% of respondents approved Trump’s work, but 46% did not approve.

About 59% of respondents, including a third of the Republicans, said America is losing authority on the world stage.

The study lasted within 6 days. In total, 4 306 respondents were interviewed. The statistical error does not exceed 2%.

Meanwhile, recently published Gallup survey results showed that Trump approval rating in the first quarter of its second term was 45% – more than in the same period its first term.
