Trump’s father’s father pardoned after and now rewarded, Kushner will be an ambassador to France

On Monday, the US Senate confirmed to France’s ambassador to Charles Kushner, who was the father of son -in -law President Donald Trump and pardoned Trump after convicted of influence on witnesses and defeats.

The Senate is Kushner, who was nominated by Trump after being elected president in the election last November, confirmed with 51 Voice ‘for’ and 45 votes ‘against’.

Senator Cory Booker, who represents Kushner’s native Federal State of New Jersey, was the only Democrat to vote with Trump’s Republicans in his favor.

He spent two years in prison, which was the longest time to settlement with prosecutors.

The case, led by the then US State Attorney Chris Christie, included the dirty details Kushner admitted: that he rented a prostitute to seduce his brother -in -law, a man who worked in a campaign financing investigation, and then recorded a video camera and sent him to his wife, Kushner’s sister, to distract her.

Trump pardoned Kushner in 2020, whose son Jared married Trump’s daughter Ivanka.

Trump Republicans hold most of 53 by 47 seats in Senate and have confirmed every person Trump nominated since the president’s second term began on January 20th.

Kushner said at a hearing in Senate that he confessed to past « serious mistakes » and said he could help him be a better ambassador because he paid the price for bad decisions.
