Trump puts 25 % of Customs on all imported cars

US President Donald Trump has announced 25 % customs duties on all imported cars that will come into force on April 2nd. He has previously described the day of American independence for the introduction of reciprocal customs for all countries. At least for cars, however, they will now announce the customs duties of many countries to US cars, including ten percent, which are required by European Union countries. European car imports have so far been customized in the US at 2.5 percent.

Almost half of the vehicles on US roads are imported, and high penalties will also be considered by US brands, which are made up of Canada, Mexico or somewhere else. Trump stressed that no car will be fried if made in the US. « Backings are returning to the US, » said Republican champion, who believes that the US automotive industry will flourish as ever. « We will have the best economy since ever! »

Many economists do not agree, but are afraid of higher prices for US consumers and stock market shocks. The US stock market index S&P 500 has lost a percentage of value after the announcement, even more. In February, Trump has already accumulated 25 % duty on steel and aluminum and twenty percent of all Chinese products. He was also particularly threatened by Canada and Mexico, but has not yet made threats due to better cooperation by neighbors in stopping the flood of legal migrants and drugs in the United States.

This, however, can change at any moment, as Trump believes that his criminal customs are already returning industrial jobs in the United States. On his social network, he cited 20 billion investments in the United States of South Korean Hyundai and five billion stellantis. Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda and Rolls Royce are also expected to transfer parts of production in the US, with thousands of new jobs.

Trump with criminal customs can not only punish foreign manufacturers, but also uses his favorite weapon to discipline some countries. Venezuela, who believes criminals and mobsters in the United States, punished with criminal customs for all countries buying Nafta there.
