The US President writes for an alleged attack on a group of people: « There will be no attacks of these Huthis. »
US President Donald Trump has published a video that is supposed to show a fatal US attack on members of the Houthi militia in Yemen, and commented on the word « ups », among other things. The black and white recordings, which he published on Friday (local time) in his online network work Truth Social, resembled pictures of military drones and showed several dozen people who are in a circle. Smoke follows, after which an impact point can be seen.
« This Houthis gathered to receive instructions for an attack, » wrote Trump to the video. « Oops, there will be no attack by this Houthis. You will never sink our ships again, » he continued.
Trump wants to « completely » destroy militia
The Houthi militia financed by Iran has repeatedly attacked ships in the Red Sea and in the Gulf of Aden as well as destinations in Israel with drones and rockets since the beginning of the Gaza War between Israel and the Islamist Palestinian organization Hamas. According to its own statements, the Houthi militia is about « solidarity with the Palestinians » in the Gaza Strip.
