US President Donald Trump said he expects a revenue sharing agreement between the US and Ukraine about the critical minerals of Ukraine to be signed soon.
Speaking to journalists at a meeting with the cabinet members, Trump said that Ukraine and American companies have met on the potential of having power plants in Ukraine.
The US delegation met with Ukrainian officials on Sunday and Russian officials in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia today.
Although the main focus of the inter -delegations is to provide a ceasefire in the Black Sea, Trump emphasized that Russia has been trying to stop the war against Ukraine for three years.
“We are talking about land issues right now. We are talking about the border lines. We talk about the property of power and energy power plants. Some people say that the US should have power plants… Because we have expertise in this field.”
What happened?
US President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Voluminir Zelenski met at the White House, and after the discussion between the two, Zelenski left the White House without signing the Rare Metals agreement that was expected to be signed.
The debate of the two leaders sat on the world agenda, shared messages supporting European leaders Zelenski.
Later, Ukrainian authorities, especially Zelenski, repeated that they were ready to achieve an agreement with the US.
