The United States has introduced 30% of customs tariffs for four Candidate countries to EU members. This decision was made by President Donald Trump within the framework of his « fair » trade policy.

Details: In particular, these states are Moldova, Serbia, Bosnia and Northern Macedonia. For Serbia, the tariff rate will be 37%, for Bosnia – 35%, for Northern Macedonia – 33%, for Moldova – 31%.

The rest of the candidate countries for admission to the EU, including Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro, Georgia, Kosovo and Turkey, will be covered by « basic » 10 percent duties.
