Trump: Greenland must be ours! This is a question of world security
While US Vice President JD Vance with his wife in Greenland, Trump held another tirade in the oval office. He reiterated that now Greenland needs to warn that it will go to the limit for the Arctic island to become part of the US.
– We need Greenland for national and international security. We will go to the end limit. The world needs Greenland to become ours, Denmark is needed. We’ll see what happens, but if we don’t have Greenland, we can’t have international security – Trump said.
Greenland Prime Minister Mute Bourup Egede reiterated that Greenland does not want to become a new American federal state, writes ABC.
– Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders. We are not Americans, we are not Danes because we are Greenland. This is what Americans and their leaders need to understand, we cannot be bought and we cannot be ignored – the eared bourup was clear.
JD Vance gave a speech at a military base in Pituffic and accused Copenhagen of neglecting Greenland.
– Our message to Denmark is very simple: you have not done a good job for the Greenland. You have not invested in Greenland people enough, you have too little invested in the security infrastructure of this incredible, beautiful land mass full of amazing people. That has to change, ”Vance said, adding that he hoped that the arrangement in Trump’s style would come.
