Ukrainian President Volodimir Zeleni interrupted his visit to South Africa and returned to the ground as an urgency. In the public address, he pointed out that it was crucial that the world saw the real state of things in Ukraine and announced additional contacts with international partners to strengthen the anti -aircraft defense.

– It’s been 44 days since Ukraine agreed to a complete interruption of the fire. That was a US proposal. And this is 44 days in which Russia continues to kill our people and avoid responsibility for its actions – Green wrote on social networks.

The attacks occurred at the moment when the US tries to push the proposal of a peace agreement that includes recognition of Russian control over Crimea, which is green sharply rejected. Trump called his attitude harmful to peace negotiations.

In the meantime, US Vice President JD Vance threatened to withdraw from negotiations if Ukraine and Russia soon accept the exposed proposal. The search for survivors under the ruins continues, and city authorities warn citizens to stay in safe locations. Given the proportions of the attack and the increasing political tension, the future of negotiations and the peace process remains uncertain.
