True and Hildur the most popular
Sanna Magdalena Mörtudóttir’s leader of the Socialist Party in Reykjavik remains the most popular citizen, but a quarter of the citizens believe it has performed the best of all city councilors, according to Maskina Borgarvita in April. True, the unchanged ratio is recommended from the last measurement that took place in November 2024.
Nearly one -fifth, or 19%, believes Hildur Björnsdóttir’s point of view of the Independence Party in Reykjavik has performed best. Satisfaction with Hildur is growing since the last measurement, but then 14% thought it has performed best.
Sanna and Hildur are the most popular among the city officials, but the third most popular is Einar Þorsteinsson, the leader of the progressives with 10%. His popularity is also growing since the last measurement as 6% thought he had performed the best.
Hard to fill in the gap of the day
8% believe Heida Björg Hilmisdóttir point out to the Social Democratic Alliance and the mayor has performed the best.
