The US Army confirmed on March 31 that the bodies of three of the four soldiers lost in Lithuania were found. The Americans rode the M88 Hercules cart, which most likely sank into the swamp. Four American military people were lost on March 25 during exercises at the training ground in Podbrodzie, about 15-20 km from the border of Lithuania with Belarus. Rescuers from Poland also joined the search and rescue operation.
