TRNC Stage of the Teknofest 2025 Drone Championship was completed – Cyprus Newspaper

The first ranking and selection sections of the Drone Championship organized within the scope of Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (Teknofest) in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) were completed.

On the 2nd day of the Teknofest Drone Championship held in Neu Event Park, the Neu Event Park in the capital Nicosia, 24 athletes will participate in the Mediterranean stage.

In the championship, Anadolu Agency Sports Club athlete Emrullah Yilmaz entered the top 24 among 32 pilots and won the competition in the Mediterranean stage, which is the next part of the Teknofest Drone Championship.

The first 16 athletes in the Mediterranean stage, in September in Istanbul will participate in Teknofest races reportedly.

Medals and awards were given to the athletes who were ranked in the audition.

In his speech at the medal ceremony, Tatar expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival was held in the country. He said.
