Tribeca Film Festival: three Luxembourg co -productions in focus

As the Film Fund reports, three Luxembourg co -productions in the series of divisions of the New York Tribeca Film Festival, which starts from June 4, have made it. « This triple selection testifies to the vitality and the growing importance of the Luxembourg audiovisual sector at an international level, » said the Filmförder Fund.

The selected films include « Re-Creation » by the Irish director Jim Sheridan, who is shown in the « Spotlight Narrative » section. The film, which was co -produced in Luxembourg by Fabrizio Maltese (Joli Rideau Media) in cooperation with Ireland, deals with the processing of Sophie Toscan Du Plantier. The Luxembourg actress Vicky Krieps can be seen in the leading role, accompanied by Gilbert K. Johnston, Elena Spautz, Claire Johnston-Cauldwell, Maja Jurić and Konstantin Rommelfangen.

Two other Luxembourg co -productions are represented in the official competition in the « International Narrative Competition » section.

« The Wolf, The Fox and the Leopard », was shot by Dutch director David Verbeek and co -produced by Alexandra Hoesdorff and Désirée Nosbusch (Deal Productions). It is an international co -production between Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland, Croatia and Taiwan. The film also combines several Luxembourg actresses, including Marie Jung, Gintare Parulyte and Myriam Gracia (supporting roles). The Luxembourg team includes Katja Reinert (mask), Jean-François Roqueplo (machine), Vitalius Kiselius (light) and Roxanne Peguet (script).

« Small dans and Diamant Mort », a thriller who was filmed by the French duo Hélène and Bruno Forzani together is also in focus. The film is a co -production by Gilles Chanial (Les Films Fauves) with Belgium, Italy and France. Among others, Celine Camara, Sophie Mousel and Sylvia Camarda and Hervé Sobne play. The Luxembourg team includes Celine Bodson (sound), Corentin Geisen (mechanical engineering), Audrey Dhyvert (equipment), Cindy Santos (script) and Raoul Nadalet (special effects). The film was seen in the competition of the Luxembourg City Film Festival in March and will be started in Luxembourg in July.
