Trapped in the web of personal numbers
From this week the Greeks and the Greeks have the opportunity, inbound to the relevant gate, to be put into operation (myinfo.gov.gr), to acquire their own Personal number (PA), which consists of 12 total elements – 3 alphabetics followed by 9 of the existing tax register (VAT) number. However, in Greece we seem to live … trapped in the web of personal numbers.
Despite the conspiracy theories that accompanied this initiative from the outset, as well as the – reasonable, to a great extent – concerns about the adequacy of insurance corpses against aspiring hackers, it is not ultimately proven to prove that this way will become a way.
That is to say, the activities of hundreds of people in this country that seem to be trampled, almost since birth, in a daunting tissue of numbers (and documents, of course), without whom there is no one or may be in practice.
Whether and to what extent this will happen or, on the contrary, the PA will be another number between many already, is something that remains to be proven.

The majority of Greeks have some vehicle – mainly a car, in a large proportion of a machine or a motorcycle, many. This means that the driver must know the traffic number at all times, and when it is released he must carry with him/her driving diploma, traffic license and insurance and KTEO proofs.
These are four numbers – identity card, tax arrangement, social security and number of insurance – that are inextricably linked to the lives of all citizens of this country.
They have to know them at all times, as they are necessary and are often requested in most transactions of all kinds of involved in services
Health and Insurance and Municipalities (Democratic number, family portion, etc.).
Hundreds of thousands of Greeks and Greeks-among their engineers, lawyers, doctors, bank employees and media workers-belong to professional bodies and/or funders, which means that they are equipped with their respective identities.
Suppose that every citizen of the country has an average of two « plastic » cards – credit, debit and/or prepared. For transactions through them, mainly for amounts of 50 euros or more (sometimes smaller), it is necessary to use the four -digit code.

The platforms of the tax office (myaade.gr and gsis.gr) are « stucks » of every consistent (in practice and not consistent) taxable. To enter them – as well as to those who are connected with them and concern all kinds of allowances and certificates from the official state – it is absolutely necessary to use the user name and the password.
Whether it is social networking media or image and audio channels, input requires identification, that is, basically user name and code. Something similar, of course, also applies to the electronic postage, which is also available to almost everyone.
The life (of the overwhelming majority) of modern people is virtually unthinkable without a « smart » mobile phone – whose holders are obviously needed to know the number they correspond to. The truth, of course, is that the facilities it incorporates are for many multiple: cards and payments, social media, etc.
There is no doubt that there are very few who do not use daily computer and/or trumpets, both in their personal lives and their work. For each of these devices, however, there is usually (and it is good to have) an input code – as complex as the user chooses.
Thousands of immigrants living and working in the country are obliged to bring with them the corresponding documents that certify that they have the necessary permission, and it is advisable to have their numbers in order to rely on them if necessary.
