On June 10, Halász summoned the mayors of the municipalities in the district to agree a common procedure. They want to create social and political pressure to solve the problem.
The Ministry of Transport suggests that « perceives the issue of transit freight transport in the Nitra region as a legitimate and important topic that requires a coordinated approach. »
Currently, according to spokeswoman Petra Poláčiková, he analyzes how to reduce the impact of this transport on the roads of lower classes.
« At the same time, together with municipalities and respective resorts, we are reviewing the possibilities of transit regulation. »

Mayor Kolárovo sees a possible solution in increasing the fee for truckers for the use of 2 and 3 class roads.

« Truckers should pay more than on the 1st class road. Then they would choose a route they should go even under normal circumstances, because our 2nd and 3 -class roads are not designed for trucks.
