Tragedy in the Krakow hospital. The prosecutor’s office with the unofficial results of the section
Information about the cutter attack, which occurred on Tuesday (April 29) at the University Hospital in Krakow, shocked Poland. The patient’s unhealthy previously invaded the orthopedist’s office during the ongoing visit and attacked him with a knife. Dr. Tomasz Solecki went to the operating theater in a dozen or so minutes, where a heroic fight for his life began. Unfortunately, despite every efforts, the doctors failed to save a friend.

The management of the institution and doctors who operated on a wounded friend during Tuesday (29 April) a press conference were unable to talk about Dr. Tomasz without trembling voice and tears in the eyes. They described him in superlatives – as a valued specialist, friend and « really decent boy ».
The head of the operating theater, MD, MD Rafał Depukat on the words of the journalist: « I do not ask what it is like to save the life of a friend » answered with a clear stir: « Please do not ask ».
The injuries they stated with Dr. Tomasz were shocking. Among other things, they were abdominal, chest, upper and lower limbs. « Unofficial results of the autopsy », which the spokeswoman of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Krakow revealed during the Wednesday (30 April) conference organized by the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar, proved to be even more shocking.
The victim suffered from a dozen to several dozen injuries. These were the wounds of the whole body, mainly chest and abdomen. The most important were two wounds, i.e. in the liver and heart area. They were very deep wounds, 16 centimeters deep and they caused death-said prosecutor Oliwia Bożek-Michalec.

The attacker was detained immediately after the incident. When security intervened, he was to be clearly stimulated. After the arrival of the police, the 35-year-old calmed down and applied to the instructions. Soon it came to light that the man is an officer of the prison service.
Jarosław W. He was to persecute dr. Tomasz Solecki, a well -known orthopedist from Krakow. In his opinion, the doctor made a mistake during the elbow surgery. And although neither the Patient Ombudsman nor the Krakow Medical Chamber saw any irregularities, the man did not give way. The final of this story turned out to be tragic.
Jarosław W. on Wednesday, April 30, heard the allegation of the murder of a doctor and attempted violation of the nurse’s body. The man pleaded not guilty and refused to explain. The court decided to apply for him temporary detention for a period of three months.
