Traffic Settings in Nea Smyrna for the 18th round

Temporarily traffic regulations They will apply this morning to Nea Smyrna, as the 18th round of the city is held, an established sporting event that the citizens have embraced.

In the 18th round of Nea Smyrna, hundreds of runners – professionals and amateurs will participate.

The route is 7.5 km long and runs through the basic arteries and neighborhoods of New Smyrna, highlighting its residential and cultural wealth.

Traffic Settings: The roads that close

For the safe run, vehicles will be discontinued in sections from 09:30 to 11:30 in the morning. The roads affected are:

• Plater
• Redestou
• Solomonidou – Cyprus
• Martyrs
• Hagia Sophia
• Wise
• Aegean
• Prophet Elias
• Lactate
• Ephesus
• Thrace
• Agia Fotini

The holidays will be temporary and will be restored partially after the runners are crossed.

To inform the public, the tram line will operate without interruption, serving residents and visitors wishing to move to or from Nea Smyrna during the race.

The race is co -organized by the Municipality of Nea Smyrni and the Association of Athletic Friends of Alsus (SANFANS). The starting point and the finish will be in the central square.

According to the Municipality’s announcement, people of all ages (children with the responsibility of parents) can run and there is no fee for participation.
