Traffic Safety Workshop and Exhibition Started … – Cyprus Newspaper


In cooperation with the Chamber of Civil Engineers and the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, the traffic safety workshop and exhibition was opened today hosted by METU Northern Cyprus Campus.

In cooperation with the Chamber of Civil Engineers and Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, a traffic safety workshop and exhibition was organized in order to create social awareness about traffic safety in the country and to determine common solutions to traffic problems.

The event started with the opening and visiting the exhibition, which includes paintings about traffic accidents.

At the event, the workshop was started at the METU Northern Cyprus Campus Rauf Raif Denktaş Conference Hall.

Opening speeches were first made in the workshop.

Economy and Energy Minister Olgun Uncle, explaining that he has been involved in various tasks related to traffic, he said he wanted to see all institutions and organizations and officials related to traffic in such an important workshop.

Uncle, emphasizing that the necessary steps should be taken in relation to the solutions of the traffic problems, the technical infrastructure and digitalization steps that the state needs, such as the implementation of many issues such as cooperation with relevant institutions and chambers, he said.

After the opening speeches, sessions were started.

In the two -day workshop, traffic psychology, electric vehicles, vehicle inspection, technical security inspection, infrastructure needs and traffic planning, smart traffic systems and sustainable transportation issues will be discussed.
