Traffic control: 17 criminal tickets with only eight checked trucks

On Monday between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. at noon, the police carried out a traffic control with a focus on truck. According to a police report on the Aire de Capellen along the A6 motorway, the control was checked in the direction of Luxembourg-City.

At first glance, the balance sheet of the campaign, 17 charges subject to charges, does not appear disproportionately for four -hour control. However, it is striking that only eight trucks to be controlled were necessary to achieve this number.

• In ten cases, violations of the social regulations were found.

• Not all prescribed vehicle documents had three drivers.

• A vehicle was traveling with poor tires.

• In one case, the license plates did not correspond to the regulations.

• The Eurovignette was missing from a truck.

• A controlled vehicle was overloaded.

According to the police, three truck drivers were prohibited from continuing as long as the respective defects are not remedied.
