Traditional products fair, in the court of the Ministry of Agriculture


The Bucharest residents are expected, from Thursday, May 8, until Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the « Traditional Products Fair », organized in the court of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR), with the support of the Caprirom South Muntenia agricultural cooperative.

The event takes place in the context of Europe Day and celebrates the contribution of Romania to the development of common agricultural policy, promoting authentic agri -food products, certified and certified at national and European level.

Visitors will have the opportunity, during the fair, to enjoy a true incursion into the Romanian culinary tradition. You will be able to taste dairy products and fresh or fresh cheeses offered by Bârsan Farm from Alba, Lactoc Sadu from Sibiu, Dragomir Florin and SC Mirvalact from Suceava county, but also by producers such as Oncescu Ion-Cătălin from Dâmbovița or Dobre Liliana PFA from Olt, Madr announced.

For lovers of sausages and meat products, Donaris Com will expose their goodies in Braila, Kovacs slaughter in Covasna, Siomarprod from Bucharest, but also Istrate Ioan, known for the flavor of his traditional products.

Visitors will be able to taste the sweets, natural juices and preserves prepared with careful kitchen (Suceava), Sonimpex (Bucharest) and IA Beg Dănuț from Caraș-Severin-each with authentic recipes, kept from generation to generation.

For those who prefer fresh fruits and vegetables, Graur Ludovic (Dâmbovița), Ionescu Daniel (Vrancea) and Tecu Georgel-Marius (Dâmbovița) bring the fruits of the carefully grown gardens.

According to MADR, the beekeeping « delights » will be presented by Vita Plant and Alecse T. Valentin from Argeș, as well as by Igna Stupina in Bucharest – natural honey, propolis and other products from the hive.

« The flavors of the bread and homemade cakes, brought by Hegbeli Mihai from Mureș, are missing.

Smoked fish and fishing products will be represented by SC Vicos Consulting and Ecotrout in Prahova. In addition, folk craftsmen will be present – Lepadatu Iordan, Ginea Gheorghe and Gecan Mariana – who will complete the authentic atmosphere with handicrafts and folk costumes, the ministry shows.

At the traditional products fair will be presented the CPAC application – a digital tool launched by MADR and AFIR that helps consumers discover authentic producers, their products and check their authenticity directly from the mobile phone by scanning the QR codes.
