The Narvites are waiting for the opening of an updated space for street trade for more than one year, and perhaps this moment will come in the foreseeable future. On the territory of the former Energia market, the new Narva Bazar market should open. NG asked how the construction is being promoted when it ends and who can become a seller.
Kiosks, tables under a canopy and open parade ground
On the territory of the Energy market, work is actively underway: multi -colored tiles gradually appear on the site of broken asphalt, and the eyeliner and foundations of future pavilions are visible from the ground.
“At this stage, we have completely laid all pipelines, water supply, sewage, and storms. In addition, electric shields are installed, that is, there will be full electricity at the facility. Now there is a backfill of the area for tiles, in the next couple of months we plan to make a pavement and move on to the next stage of construction, ”Dmitry Kuznetsov, head of Euroinfra Oü, who is engaged in construction work, told the Narva newspaper journalist.
According to the current owner of the market, Denis Pyartel, in his plans to improve the square in such a way that it fit into the architectural style of the center of Narva. The territory will be divided into several parts: a zone for street trade under a canopy of 400 square meters. m, part of the trading places will be located in covered pavilions, and a parade ground for trading directly from the car will be available from the market complex. Here it will be possible to organize a fair or put up a tent with goods.
At the updated trading platform they want to promote a farm theme so that everyone can sell fruits from their garden and garden, as well as farm products there.
“In the market, we will install nine kiosks. They will be connected to communications (electricity, water), insulated and adapted for year -round trade. From both the ends of the market there will be parking. At the main entrance – sliding gates, the territory will be closed. The garden store has already begun its work. It will form one common territory and become an integral part of the market, ”said Dmitry Kuznetsov.

Places will be calculated by meter, they can be rented both on the street and in the pavilion. Flexibility in this matter will sell both to the one who has two buckets of apples and the one who brought a whole minibus of their products. And if someone wants to sell food, he will be able to install a food in a place adjacent to the market.
“We want to make an interesting and useful space that will become a local attraction. Last year, they promised the Narvites that we would launch part of the market in the spring of this year. And in the spring we opened the garden pavilion. Now the work on the improvement of the area is ongoing. We had to thoroughly work on this object, since the rocks are below; It took a lot of effort to prepare everything. But now all the draft work is completed, we hope that we will quickly make a paving and mount a canopy, ”added Dmitry Kuznetsov.
In order not to miss the upcoming season
Market owners claim that when the area is covered with tiles, people will already be able to trade there. There are not many places in the city where you can organize street trade seven days a week, and the new market has the appropriate permission from the Narva City Council. That is why, in order not to miss the season, partial trade will be available this summer. As Denis Pyartel noted, the “Energia” market “Energia” markets are ready to sell now, when the construction is not yet completed. As the construction progresses, they will be provided with certain areas.
“We were a lot of where, we paid attention to how markets were made in other cities, and we want to realize this experience in Narva. Many citizens remember the Energy market, we would like to revive it under the new name Narva Bazar and do everything in a modern way. Garden and market topics are very in harmony, so we are sure that sellers and buyers will be enough after a full opening here. Even now, people come to sell, ask where to get up so as not to interfere with the construction site, ”said Denis Pyartel.
As the entrepreneur noted, his company had to wait a long time for building permission, but now everything is in order with the documents, so you can order a guide, finish building kiosks. According to his plan, the full season will begin in the spring of next year, when the construction will be completed and sellers will be able to choose a place for trade. The owner did not specify the cost of the lease, but said that it will not be higher than the average price in Estonia markets.
