On Friday, May 23, in San Martín de Las Pirámides, just a few minutes from the majestic Pyramid of the Moon, there was a terrifying disaster. The balloon suddenly began to lose the height, and then hit the fence and hooked on the energy lines. According to Erie News Now, everything indicates that the so -called « Air hole » – a sudden drop in pressure that surprised the pilot.

The balloon belonged to a private tourist company specializing in flights over Teotihuacán monuments. The company’s representatives refused to comment to the media, and the local prosecutor’s office is already doing the case. Teotihuacán is a mecca for tourists from around the world. Annually, this place is visited by millions, and the balloon flight over the pyramids is one of the biggest attractions.
