Toskovski: Initial information is that the unadjusted speed is the cause of the Kicevo traffic accident

According to preliminary information, the cause of yesterday’s car accident that killed three people and eight injured the unadjusted speed on the road, Interior Minister Pance Toskovski, who is visiting SIA Ohrid, said this morning.

– In last night’s traffic accident, unfortunately, three people were killed. According to the initial information I received it is a huge unadjusted speed of one of the participants who, unfortunately, is dead – said Toskovski.

The number of traffic casualties in the first quarter of this year, according to the minister, is about similar to last year, but as it estimates, the numbers are disastrous compared to European standards.

« In the future we must focus on greater calming of traffic from every aspect, as well as the implementation of the project » Safe City « throughout the country, » Toskovski said.

Last week, according to ENER, some of the necessary laws to impliment the project « Safe City » were put on Energy.

The car accident happened yesterday between Kicevo and the village of Trapcin Dol, and according to initial information provided by the SIA Ohrid spokesman for MIA, three vehicles were involved in the accident.
