Toskovski for the accident in Kocani: What can I do as a minister, but I will not benefit from media

Interior Minister Pance Toskovski says he is continuously in communicating with parents, but that he does not want to use it for PR and for media expression, revealing that he was already in Kocani, where he had a meeting with some of the parents of the victims in the « Pulse » disco.

– What I can do as a minister and what I am obliged to do, I will do it, but I will not profit media. There were a lot of conversations, there were many constructive conversations with those parents – Toskovski said in an interview with MRTV.

Speaking about the fire in the Kocani discotheque, Toskovski said that « one of the latest manipulation attempts made by the opposition is that the investigation ended and the information was not available to the public. »

– The investigation into the process conducted by the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office – Kocani, is formally completed. But that does not mean that if certain evidence is found, and are related to a specific crime, they will not be processed against those perpetrators, potential suspects or future defendants where there will be concrete evidence as was the fictitious owner you said previously related to, ie the actual owner related to the legal entity. That is one fact, and the second is the opposition’s lie that the investigation is completely completed. Not true. The investigation by the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office is still ongoing and not over – said Toskovski, who was guest on « Macedonian Radio Television ».

He expressed confidence that from what has been informed so far, there has been evidence for many people, for actions and not actions.

– The opposition’s thesis that there are no current officials who are trying to impose on the public from the public, is wrong. As part of this procedure, the fact is that one current minister is suspected. Former is suspected, but one current minister is also suspected. The fact is that former directors are also suspected in this procedure, but an instant director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue is also suspected. The fact is that we have a suspect in this procedure, but the fact is that we have a suspect and current mayor – the minister said.

Toskovski said it was a lie and that was not covered by current authorities.

– Just as it is a lie that police officials were reportedly in charge of being competent in the evening, they still performed the same functions. It’s not true – said Toskovski.

Asked about the demands of close to those killed in the fire at the Pulse disco to go to Kocani and meet them in person, Toskovski said he was in Kocani and saw some parents.

– I was in Kocani. I was, I saw a good portion of my parents – the minister replied.

The fire at the Kocani discotheque « Pulse », which occurred early in the morning on March 16, claimed 62 casualties and about 200 injured were transferred to hospitals in the country and abroad.
