The Macedonian national football team will play the match against Belgium in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers tomorrow evening in Skopje. The Belgian national team is the biggest favorite in the group, but also captain Ennis Bardi and coach Blagoja Milevski at today’s press conference that Macedonia has agreed.

– We play in our home and we don’t think about anything but a bold game, with the support of fans to win. If you do not dream of great things you will not even achieve your goals. We all believe that we can play at the level and rejoice together – said Bardi.

Coach Blagoja Milevski said that Belgium is a better selection in an individual plan, but that the chance of the Macedonian national team is in the team game.

– They have great individuals, there is nothing to talk about. But our chance is the team game and if we act as a whole, then we can realize our tactical ideas – said Blagoja Milevski, adding that « he saw something that gives him hope that tomorrow with Belgium will be different from before ».

Earlier, an official press conference before tomorrow’s duel was held by Belgian coach Rudy Garcia, who emphasized that they came to Skopje after Victory, but also that Macedonia is a serious opponent.

– It’s not just Elmas here, there is Alioski, there are others. We are not waiting for a difficult duel, we will enter without underestimation. Macedonia puts pressure and uses opponent’s mistakes. Our opponent is analyzed. Macedonia already has 4 points. It is unusual for us to start from the last position of the table. Macedonia is strong, but we will do our best to win – Garcia said.

About 25,000 tickets have been sold for tomorrow’s qualifying match of Macedonia, promising strong support for the Macedonian national team at the « Todor Proeski » arena in Skopje.
