The Ministry of Health announced that the real estate was taken on May 14, but they had not yet entered into possession of the facility because the Tripartite handover record, which needed to be drawn up by the competent services of the City of Zagreb, was not completed or signed, and the City of Zagreb was borne by then.
Tomasevic stated that the key thing for the handover was a meeting where the handover happened, which was held on May 14, with seven representatives of the state – the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of State Property, four representatives of the City and representatives of AKD protection.
He recalled that in October, the City Assembly adopted an agreement on the exchange of real estate between the city and the state, which, the complex of the unfinished hospital in Blato and the land east of the hospital went to the state, and in turn the city was given land for the construction of kindergartens, schools, homes for the elderly, etc.
On the basis of this agreement, the contract was signed in March, and the first handover was scheduled for March 21, but the Ministry of Health sought a delay and the handover took place on May 14.
Tomasevic pointed out that AKD protection protected the facility on behalf of the City of Zagreb by noon on May 14, and from noon on May 14, on behalf of the state, specifically the Ministry of Health.
On the basis of a statement from the Ministry of Health, it could be concluded that there was no one in the hospital area at the time of the fire, which is not true because there was a protector of AKD protection there, which reported the fire. Tomasevic noted that AKD was a state -owned protection.
The list of tenants and users has been handed over to the state last year
The list of all tenants and users of these areas was handed over to the state last year, before the conclusion of the Real Estate Replacement Agreement, so they knew what they were taking over.
Tomasevic says that there are illegal users there, who did not break but pay rent but do not have valid contracts, and points out that during his term of office, the number of illegal users decreased.
Commenting on the accusation of Attorney General Ivan Turudic that Tomasevic was serving « hate speech », he was urged to answer exactly what his statement was qualified as « hate speech ».
« As for my speech, I think the citizens said everything a week ago, and I invite them to say that in the next round of elections in a week, » Tomasevic said.
On Monday, the Mayor of Zagreb introduced a complex in Vlaska 87, which will become a school art center for several artistic schools, dance and music.
