Tomasevic on a criminal complaint: ‘Obviously Nobilo now has time, when he no longer represents Dodik’
Lawyer Anto Nobilo has announced that on behalf of the unnamed former and current employees of the Sports Facilities Management Institution (USO), he will be filed a criminal complaint against Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic for the embezzlement of public money. He called him a ranking for a third person in Croatia, and at Konrefencation for the media he released a recording on alleged robbery of public money. The recording, he claims, arrived from a man who introduced himself as Guy Fawkes, a character from the movie V For Vendetta.

Nobilo then discovered details of a letter from the anonymous present and former employees of the Sports Facilities Institution, which states that they are addressing Nobil because they are afraid to stand publicly. They accused Uso Director Kostanjevic Kostanjevic and the mayor of Zagreb for the embezzlement of more than two million euros in public money through false security services on the Hippodrome.
The application states that on paper they showed that the hippodrome protects 35 security guards in each of the three shifts, and worked a total of 100,000 hours a month, although they were aware that these jobs were not done. But despite this, at least two million euros were paid from November 2023 to September 2024. In doing so, Nobilo claims, the City of Zagreb budget was damaged by the same amount that was provided in advance. He also states that the mayor knew about all the findings, and that Kostanjevic personally said that he had received only one job of 300,000 euros in his hands.
Tomasevic: ‘Now there is time when Dodik does not represent’
– I have not seen all the details of the conference because it was just before this conference. Obviously, this is part of a political campaign. Again, lawyer Nobilo reports, I guess now there is time because he no longer represents Milorad Dodik, so he personally became involved in a political campaign.
He became involved because companies are one of the founders of land owners covering the Sava Park East Urban Plan. These are land located in a zone around Lanište where we have uncontrolled construction. We put a part of the GUP out there, where there was a lot of skyscrapers planned. And I repeat, these are companies where one of the founders is Nobilo – Tomasevic said at the announced press conference regarding the financing of graffiti removal in the city.

He added that this city government insists that the city be tailored to be a man, that people do not look at the plate from the window.
– These are those interests we have hit. But they will not stop us – warned Tomasevic, who said to Nobil that he obviously wanted to stop the cleaning of urban mess, Tomasevic said, reports, reports Dnevnik.hr.
