To win in Dubai you will have to hit some triple more and have the courage

Cediti Olympia basketball players have stepped into a part of the season, where slippers are no longer in the question. In the quarterfinals of the ABA League, they will compete with Dubai, the first game will play on Sunday at 4pm, the second (and possibly the last one, the teams play two wins) next Friday in Stožice. Ljubljana’s sniper Gregor Voice is in conversation for Work emphasized that Olympia can be surprised if it will play a match without mistakes. A long way to Dubai will not be an excuse, motivation and energy in the dragon’s nest will not be questionable for the finish.

We entered the key part of the season, the playoffs begins. How satisfied are you with the work done so far?

In all competitions we have achieved or exceeded expectations, so I think we can be satisfied. We started the season a little worse and hunted a little, then we caught a real rhythm and escalated the game. We are now in good shape, we are ahead of the season ahead and we hope for the best. That’s why we have worked so far to get to this position.

In the playoffs you will compete with Dubai, who also looks at the ABA Championship title. What duel do you expect?

We have at least two very difficult matches, Dubai has a quality team that has excellent individuals in the attack, they can be dangerous on all sides and can hit from afar. In recent weeks, we have taken a lot of time to prepare for their game, trying to predict their tactical plan and adapt to it. There will be difficult matches, but nothing is impossible if we are confident and play for victory.
