The Cabinet of Ministers has continued the provision on the imposition of special duties (PSOs) on natural gas market entities in terms of fuel tariffs for heat producers until October 31, 2025.
About it reported Prime Minister Denis Shmigal.
« We approve the resolution according to which the supply of natural gas under the PSO regime for heat supply companies will be extended by October 31 this year. This means maintaining preferential gas prices for heat producers for the needs of the population and budgetary institutions, » he said.
As it was reported, the PSO mechanism obliges Naftogaz Trading to sell gas to suppliers of heat and hot water for the population at a fixed price – 7420 UAH per thousand cubic meters.
Shmigal reminded that in March the government also continued privileged gas prices for the population.
« Tariffs for heat, hot water and gas will continue unchanged, » Shmigal also said.
