To prove that the armchair is not the ultimate goal, that we serve the people, said Mickoski from Heraclea

To prove to the people that VMRO-DPMNE is the right choice, that we are not the same as those who have ruled the past. Let us not forget that our armchair is not the ultimate goal, but duty, duty to the people, towards Macedonia. All officials in our party must be aware that what we are doing is not a personal game, but a service, said Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski in tonight’s jubilee address-35 years since the establishment of VMRO-DPMNE.

Mickoski told his officials – « Don’t forget who you are, where you came from and who you serve. » At the same time, he called for sincere self-criticism and conscience of every member and official of VMRO-DPMNE. Anyone who thinks the armchair is just a personal benefit, emphasize, think again.

VMRO-DPMNE, the party leader said, is a true guardian of the changes that are necessary.

-At these moments of change, I appeal to all our officials and members: remember who you are, where you came from and to whom you serve. No one should allow baharotas or agony of power and benefit to smash their eyes. To demonstrate responsibility as a set and show a difference and who we are and what we advocate, I will not stop looking for accountability from each of you. Any revocation of the values ​​we represent will not remain unpunished or inappropriate. And none of you are irreplaceable, no matter how close to me. You must know that no one of your functions, no position you are sure and you will be there as long as you serve and work together for the people – said Mickoski.

According to him, the reckless seating in the armchair brings shame and disappointment, and the worthy and friendly sitting of the chair, the crate in front of the co -operation or on the bench in the neighborhood, brings friends, supporters and a real strength for the idea.

-There lies the basis of the real political future, on the honor and on our cheek. Never to ban where we come from, where we come from and where we will return after all this. The most expensive thing a man can leave to his offspring is not money, not the property, but a frequent and pure cheek. As our wisely know how to say, officials must not forget that macadam in the countryside and streets is higher and more authentic and softer than the rug in hotels and offices, because of the reality of it and the steps of its fellow citizens who are going to your fellow, and the armchair is always in front of your powers. That is why all officials in our party must be aware that what we are doing is not a personal game, but a service – the party leader emphasized.

He reminded VMRO-DPMNE officials that the bench in their neighborhoods is the place where they will one day come back, and that people will have to look at them in the eyes and proudly say: « I did it for you, I fought for you, and not to be ashamed. »

Mickoski also referred to the period before coming to power. He noted that his predecessors, SDSM and DUI, disappointed the people and ruined the institutions. The state, he said, was subject to long -term background and demolition, and the seven -year rule of DUI and SDSM left deep wounds. But VMRO-DPMNE, he added, is the new hope.

-We are a change that is not afraid to face the challenges, correct mistakes and set fair order and justice. We are not here to promise easy stories or quick solutions, but we are here to correct mistakes and repair the damage from the past. We have to admit – the period we left behind was not easy. The last seven years, until last year, have been years of catastrophic rule by DUI and SDSM, full of corruption, betrayals and shaking our institutions. Institutions that were pillars of the state were now ruins. The faith of the people was shaken, the economy stuck, politicians sunk in corruption, the standard of citizens fell. People were disappointed, tired, full of apathy, fear and uncertainty. And because of this, our entry into power a year ago was more than a change of set. It was a new beginning and confirmation that the people had not forgotten, that the people had not given up, and that we are now starting to build foundations – foundations of change, foundations of honesty, foundations of work and justice – emphasized Mickoski.

According to him, the wounds left by SDSM and DUI were seen in every institution, in every corner of Macedonia.

-Corruption that destroyed the foundations of justice, betrayals that undermined state interests, ruining institutions. Our citizens were disappointed and without hope. But all those dark years now remain behind us. With unwavering will and with a strong determination, the people take power again in their hands, and VMRO-DPMNE stood as a true guardian of the changes that are necessary. All of our energy and our every step are aimed at restoring and stabilizing the state. So let’s not forget – our armchair is not the ultimate goal, but a duty. Duty to the people, towards Macedonia – said Mickoski in his address on the occasion of the party jubilee.

It also added that in every historical struggle, and especially in that of our people who last for decades, the key to success lies in unity and awareness of responsibility.

-We are not here to fight for armchairs or power, but to create real values ​​that will remain forever and recognize future generations. I remember how after seven years of catastrophic rule of DUI and SDSM, when our institutions were shaken, corruption was flourishing, and identity and national interest were hit, many thought there was no salvation for Macedonia. But just then, in the most difficult times, we decided to take responsibility and show that there is hope – emphasized Mickoski.
