Carriers of the virus

The carriers of the SNL virus are from an infected animal to human. « The aquifer formed on the animal’s body ruptures and is characterized by a very dangerous secretion. It contains a very high concentration of the SNL virus. The secretion enters the feed, the grass, and thus contagious other animals. The virus can also enter human footwear, clothing;

« Nowadays, when people go to warm lands, traveling under the SNL infected regions like Turkey, Central Asian countries, India, and visiting farm animals, returning to Lithuania, should be avoided to enter where animals are kept or grazed. The virus can also park.

Let’s say the farmer brought the greetings smoked meat products, served farm workers, and in meat a virus, which can easily enter the animal’s body if such a meat -friendly person will not wash and infect their hands before going to the animals. Active animal trade is also a threat. To protect herd, newly purchased animals should be quarantined for 21 days. If the animal is already infected with SNL, the symptoms of the disease will occur during that time. If it turns out that the animal is suffering from SNL, the farmer may be able to prove that the newly purchased has no contact with his herd and will not have to destroy it all, ”says Mindaugas Kašinskas, Head of Klaipėda County Supervision Department.

Focusing on the biosaugas

According to specialists, there is no threat to Lithuania so far, as the closest country to the SNL is currently spreading – Slovakia. « The fifth case of infection has already been identified on a 3,5 thousand cattle farm. All animals need to be destroyed. The resulting secondary fireplaces indicate that the disease is increasingly harder to control in that country. It does not, to give the farm to the farm to provide disposable clothing and footwear, to provide disinfectants and disinfection with trailers, slurry, other equipment and tools with other farms The farmer to take out the animal for sale, and the clothes dressed in the trailer or contact with the driver, immediately washed and disinfected, ”recalls M. Kašinskas and advises you to take advantage of the current access to Biosauga investment.
