To ensure that justice does not remain a principle


At the invitation of World Law Foundation and World Jurist Association, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, headed by the President, Holta Zaçaj and composed of judges Sonila Bejtja and Gent Ibrahimi, along with representatives of justice and executive institutions, is attending the 29th World Congress of Law, which is developing in Santo Domingo, who is being held in Santo Domingo, who is being held in Santo Domingo, who is being held in Santo Domingo, who is being held in Santo Domingo, The Dominican Republic, from May 4-6, 2025.

The 29th World Congress of the Law has been opened with a solemn ceremony, with the participation of the highest domestic and international personalities, during which the commitment and contribution to further strengthening of democracy and the rule of law has been conveyed. Congress continued with the development of several discussion tables where there were references from different panelists from around the world where representatives of the Constitutional Court and the Albanian delegation moderated and referred to some of the panels.

Congress works were closed by awarding the awards of gratitude to some important personalities of law and were honored by the presence of his excellence, King Felipe VI of Spain and his Excellency, Luis Abinader, President of the Dominican Republic.

During the closing ceremony, the President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, said that “Giving the belief in organizing the World Association of Lawyers for 2027 is a historical honor for my country, a small nation with a big heart whose history has been that of sustainability, transformation and unwavering belief in the power of dialogue and solidarity. Ensure that justice is not just a principle, but a living promise for every citizen, in every corner of the world. «
