To close the SP office in Delvina, Zhupa: 50 meters away from the CZAZ
DP MP Ina Zhupa has denounced the SP for violating the Electoral Code in the city of Delvina. According to Zhupa, the SP has opened an electoral office only 50 meters from the Electoral Administration Commission (CEAZ), while the law requires a minimum distance of 300 meters from the CEAZ and the polling stations.
« This requirement is about ascertaining the violation of the rules provided by the legislation in force for elections by the election entity, the Socialist Party. Specifically, we have found that in the city of Delvina a SP election office has been opened, at a very close distance to the Delvina CEAZ, which is located at the City Cinema.
Where the polling stations for the 11 May elections are also foreseen. According to information from the field, we are informed that this office is used by SP multi-name candidates, Ardit Bido and Ina Malko. Attached you have pictures of the denunciation in question.
The opening of the election office at a distance of below 300 meters from the VC or the CEAZ is prohibited in the applicable legal framework, due to non -implementation in voters. In these conditions, we as the Electoral Subject Democratic Party-Alliance for Great Albania, we are turning to the CEC to ascertain this fact and to urgently take appropriate administrative and legal measures for the immediate closure of this Socialist Party office ”the document states.
