Timrots tests Latvian -made land military drone / day
NATRIX platform, or drone, is created in Latvia. It is remotely controlled and equipped with a variety of things in the battle – weapon systems, memory and mining equipment.
As Kristaps Puķe, Chairman of the Board of Natrix, tells Paul, this machine goes where it is dangerous for a person to go. The idea of such a platform came from Kristaps with Natrix platform inventor Gati Vectiran and engineer Marcis Zariņš. Along with the experience of the military industry, both are active national guards, so their knowledge gained in their training allowed the device to be defined. In collaboration with Ukrainian soldiers, the NATRIX platform is tested in combat conditions and developed in a real need, as its main task is to facilitate the soldier’s already difficult life.
Each platform detail has its own function, but its management style is in line with the practice of Ukrainian colleagues. The device also has cruise control and various cameras, but the interface is built to support various experiments. The maximum speed of the device is 20 km/h as it is designed to accomplish its tasks quietly and efficiently. Paul has the opportunity to try the land drone management himself, and he admits that the robust machine goes safely and is able to easily cope with strains and other challenges.
The NATRIX platform is most effective in working with a flying drone, so a major component is communication. NATRIX has already successfully tested land drone in a military 5G network with LMT, and it also works using military radio and WiFi networks depending on the user needs.
Why Latvian engineers are worth looking for on the NATRIX team right now, and how these equipment will be used in the civilian sector after the war will find out in the new series of broadcasts.
In the show Speed Paul Timrots and the team are looking for adventures, technology innovation, legendary personalities and interesting interlocutors. Speed to be viewable too Lmt on smart TV and on the internet.
