Her family has a big contribution to Paul’s success. Dad Agris Kibars once started in the motorcycle and was the last champion of the Soviet Union, but later continued to represent the Latvian state at the hobby level. He has always supported Paul’s wishes, and when the young athlete was bored alone, he climbed BMX and rolled with his daughter. Agris knows from experience to say that BMX is a democratic and accessible children’s sport, but parents are advised to think and follow, because in this sport, mistakes can be expensive.
