Timi is the country’s first professional mermaid

– At my childhood, fish were my favorite animals and of course The little mermaid His tale had a great impact on me. This kind of enthusiasm has subsided slightly during my teenage years, but my love for water remained, and I swam regularly in my free time. A few years ago, we were vacationing in Croatia when my girlfriend sent a link that you can learn mermaid as an adult. I was surprised, until then I only knew about kid courses. Immediately I jumped into a diving shop and bought a pair to try what it feels like to swim like this. It was completely fascinated, I knew I wanted to deal with it, ”the mother of two children told Sunday Blikk.

Since there were no mermaid courses for adults in Hungary at the time, Timi passed the lily diving exam.

– I felt it wasn’t enough, so I continued to search. Finally, I found a Dutch bench diving lady who passed the exam last summer. So I became the first mermaid instructor in the system of diving education organization in the bench. Lurge diving and mermaid diver are very similar, with the difference that luminous diving focuses more on sports performance, while mermaids focus on artistic self -expression. This is actually a mixture of free diving and dance, which is made even more interactive by various movements and rotations. We also learn so -called bubble tricks on how to form different shapes with mouth and hand, such as hearts and rings, Timi explained.

The first mermaid course course will begin in April and will be open water courses in the summer.

– I ordered the Sellohogs from America from a very good quality brand, all of these clothes were made of plastics collected from the sea. These are pulled on the monofines, that is, the dolphin, and I also provide a diver and a respiratory pipe. We gradually learn to stay under water as far as possible. Otherwise, it is a very good form of exercise because it also strengthens trunk muscles, buttocks, and thighs. I keep the watches at full time as a hobby. I really want to build a Hungarian mermaid community with whom you can dive! It varies from a course, but after a few occasions anyone can become mermaid who learns the curriculum properly. I am simply enchanted by the weightlessness and the peace I feel underwater. You don’t care about your troubles, the time stops. It’s like blending with the underwater wildlife!
