Time to dance returns with the festival’s most personal topic

Festival curator and choreographer Olga Zhitluhina says: « Contemporary dance is becoming particularly personal this year. The family is not just a shared address – it is a movement that comes between people. Dance is our language where family stories can be spoken deeply. »

Festival performances in Riga will be on view from June 10 to 12 on several stages at the Arts Center Noah and in the youth garden. Spectators will have the opportunity to meet Latvian dance artists – wonder, Lipor, Muskar, Olehno and Zvonarjov’s families – as well as international guests, whose works will cover the family theme from different cultural perspectives.
