Tickets for the School Youth Song and Dance Celebration will cost between seven and 45 euros / day

The most expensive tickets are expected for the closing concert TE-tease Mežaparks Great Stage and Folk Dance Big Concerto I opened Laima Garden Two concerts at the Daugava Stadium.

At one time, the buyer will be able to purchase tickets for several festivities, purchasing up to eight tickets for each of the events.

A 15% discount is scheduled for the purchase of tickets by presenting Honorable Family Card, Persons with a disability group I, II or III, presenting the appropriate certificate as well as politically repressed persons.

95% of the tickets will be provided in public trade, while 3% of the tickets will be traded in the previous reservation for municipalities and other cases stipulated in the statement of festive tickets and invitations.

Up to 2% of the total number of seats in the festivities are intended for invitations.

The approved rules provide for a fee for trading venues in the traditional and modern crafts market in the Vērmane Garden and Mežaparks, as well as in other trade rental sites. The contract price for each point of sale will be determined according to the estimate.

According to the event organizers, budget revenue from ticket sales is planned for € two million. The revenue is to be redirected to the cost of organizing festivities, including the lease, technical security and the implementation of stage design.

In its turn, revenue from the outlay rental measures could reach € 90,000.

The LETA agency has already announced that it is still unclear which company will provide ticketing for the School Youth Song and Dance Celebration.

SIA applied for ticket sales in the competition Ticket Service and SIA Ticket paradise. The Procurement Commission of the National Education Development Agency (VIAA) decided to entrust ticket sales in mid -April Ticket paradise. This decision was challenged by the PMB Ticket service.

The PMB meeting was appointed on Wednesday, May 14, three weeks after receiving the complaint. At the same time, the festival organizers have stated that they were « very technically ready » to start the ticket sales, and after the PMB’s decision, a « couple days » will be needed to get the necessary information in the system.

The XIII Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Celebration in Riga will take place from 5 to 13 July.
