Rock am Ring 2025: Date – When does the festival take place?

In 2025 the summer can also be heralded with rock on the ring. The festival takes place as usual in early June. On the weekend from June 6th to June 8th, 2025, the Nürburgring racetrack will turn back into a festival site and attract thousands of visitors.

Rock am Ring 2025: Where there are tickets and what they cost

The regular tickets for the event are now sold out. Regardless of this, certain upgrade tickets are still available. This includes almost Lane passports or a VIP upgrade for 349 euros for the entire weekend. The upgrades must be purchased separately to the existing ticket.

If you want to spend the weekend completely there and spend the night, another ticket for camping is necessary. There are different ways to choose between different price and comfort classes. Started with the cheapest, General Camping continues with Green Camping, Rock’n’Roll Camping, Caravan Camping, Utopia Stage Camping, Racetrack Rock’n’Roll Camping and last but not least the Experience Camping. Tickets for camping are now almost sold out.

All those without a car can also use the shuttle service that runs between the festival site and surrounding cities.

Line-up, bands and headliners: Who is expected from Rock am Ring 2025?

Since there was a big anniversary in 2025, the organizers announced great. Which guests can be expected to be 40-year-old? In the meantime, all well-known bands have been determined, including the Nu Metal band Korn. The US cult band confirmed the organizer on December 4. In the publication round (third artist wave), Weezer, Bullet for My Valentine, Kontra K, Frog Leap, Jerry Cantrell, Destroy Boys, Northlane, I See Stars, The Red Flags, Drug Church and more.

Before that, rumors circulated that the British band Iron Maiden could also be one of the headliners, since the group itself celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. In addition, the name ‘the dead pants’ often fell in the chats, since the band Rock am Ring has often honored and it would only be suitable if the group is also back for the anniversary. However, this speculation has not been confirmed. Neither « Iron Maiden » nor « The Toten Hosen » will be part of the festival line-up in 2025. Furthermore, the band Linkin Park was a much discussed topic among fans. There were rumors that the band wanted to go on tour again next year after the death of their frontman and singer Chester Bennington, Then with a singer in the luggage. In the summer of 2025, Linkin Park will not appear at « Rock im Park » or « Rock am Ring ». The band rejects the participation, even though the organizers had previously negotiated in Los Angeles.
